Have you ever cooked miso soup from scratch or ever wanted to? Have you ever made miso soup but it did not have the same flavour as the one in your favourite Japanese restaurant? If so, this is the class for you.
We will make dashi stock, the base of Japanese cooking and many cooking techniques such as how to make crispy kara age chicken (Japanese style fried chicken) and how to make spinach goma ae (spinach with sesame dressing).
*Students need to bring: a cutting board, chef’s knife, apron, 2 towels and take home containers
