Course Description
This 6-hour course will give the participants an overview of payroll including the basic skills of how to complete a simple payroll for a number of employees in a manual bookkeeping system using a hands-on approach.  It will provide the knowledge in how to apply and use the tax tables as well as calculate overtime and amounts owed to other agencies.  In addition, the participants will be able to produce journal entries and calculate the amounts due to the government including completion of the PD7A remittance form.
