Agnes McCoy Memorial Bursary - (Aboriginal students)

Amount: $450 tuition award

Eligibility: Awarded to a College of the Rockies student of First Nations Ancestry who has shown dedication to their studies. The candidate will have demonstrated the preservation of their First Nations culture and values. Preference will be given to: • Preservation of the Ktunaxa Language and Culture • single parents advancing their education; • focus of studies in the Social work- Personal wellness field The award will be granted on the basis of financial need in addition to one or more of the eligibility criteria. The purpose of the awards is to assist First Nations people to pursue post-secondary education, primarily in the Social work field. The bursary will be disbursed in two payments, prior to the fall semester and the winter semester.
