Spend three weeks in the Danish city of Aarhus learning about and bringing to life the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students from around the world will work in teams at VIA University College to address real life challenges related to SDGs such as: health and well-being for all, reduced inequality within health care, sustainable production and consumption, and strong, democratic and engaging institutions for all. The summer school aims to facilitate student community involvement, develop students’ co-creational community skills, enhance inter-cultural skills, and build relationships between participants from different cultures.

The College is in the process of entering into an international exchange agreement with VIA University College. Once this has been concluded, students will be able to pay tuition and fees to College of the Rockies and earn College credit while gaining an incredible intercultural experience. Credit opportunities are available for College business students, the prospect for credit in other programs currently being explored. In addition, students will be eligible to receive College of the Rockies Learning Abroad Travel Awards to help offset costs.

For more information, please contact the College’s Manager of International Projects and Partnerships, or drop by the International Office at the Cranbrook campus. Also, learn more by visiting VIA University College’s website.
