Brandon Kennedy has always loved to cook. Looking to improve his skills, he enrolled in the Professional Cook Training program at College of the Rockies in 2004.
After completing the program, Brandon has had the opportunity to cook in a wide variety of environments. “I have had many jobs as an Executive Chef, worked as a Food and Beverage Manager for Copper Point and as a Journeyman Cook in Fort McMurray where I was responsible for feeding 1200 – 1800 people every night.”
Currently Brandon is working as First Cook at the Snap Lake Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories. “Snap Lake is 220km North of Yellowknife with only air access until winter roads open up. I am getting to enjoy experiences that I never would have had the opportunity to without my Professional Cook training.”
