Melodie Hull has worked hard her entire life and has accomplished much.  She is an instructor for College of the Rockies’ Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with not one but two graduate degrees.  She has experience teaching and volunteering internationally and is a frequent guest speaker at conferences around the world.  And that is just scratching the surface of what she has done and continues to do.

A special area of interest for her, however, has always been those who struggle with mental health and addiction issues.  For that reason, Melodie has added establishing the Melodie Hull Fund for Mental Health through the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation (CDCF) to her long list of accomplishments.

Melodie, who through her work as a Psychiatric Nurse has extensive experience with those struggling with ongoing challenges brought on by mental health challenges and addiction has been frustrated by the lack of resources available in the region.  Her Fund hopes to help remedy that right here in the Cranbrook area– with the money earmarked to help those with chronic and persistent mental health and/or addiction challenges.

After recently adding a $10,000 lump sum contribution to her fund, Melodie is now able to see the Fund providing grants to the community.
