Course Overview
Inspired by elements of ballet, Tai Chi, and physiotherapy, this low-impact class is a dynamic and full-body workout that improves posture, increases flexibility, reduces pain and tones the body. Essentrics is for all levels and abilities to keep you fit at every age and stage of your life to keep you moving freely, live actively and without pain. The goal of the Essentrics workout is to create a balanced body such that the strength in your muscles doesn’t inhibit your movement, and your mobility is enhanced by your strength. Essentrics dynamically combines strengthening and stretching to develop a strong, toned body with the complete ability of moving each joint and muscle freely and with full range of motion. Essentrics will unlock what is tight, strengthen what is weak and tone what needs shaping.
Please bring your own mat. Limited supply available for use.
Please wear stretchy yoga/athletic leggings or shorts and fitness top that you feel comfortable moving in. The class will be done in bare feet or socks.
