Weekend Pottery Wheel

Course Overview

Enroll in this one weekend starter hand building, sculpting, and wheel throwing course. You will learn how to make a variety of pieces, such as mugs, bowls, platters, spoon rests, pot trivets, ring dishes and vases.  If you’ve ever wanted to explore clay, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your ideas to life and explore your creative pursuits through clay. There will be guidance, but you are also encouraged (though by no means obligated!) to come with an idea of what you’d like to make – bringing a sketch is always a good idea!

Bring a snack, water, patience, and a wooden rolling pin. Wear clothes and shoes that can get a bit dirty. An apron is a bonus. Jewelry will get gunked up and dent your clay, please remove it before class to keep it clean and safe.

You will be able to pick up your pieces after approx. 3-4 weeks (allowing for drying, glazing, and firing). If you cannot pick up your pieces in person, a shipping fee will apply.
