16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence

November 25 - December 10

An individual on a blow horn, speaking out.

November 25 – December 10th

November 25 marks the beginning of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence. An annual international campaign, 16 Days of Activism started in 1991 to speak up on gender-based violence and to renew our commitment to ending violence against women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals.

Canada’s theme for 2024’s 16 Days is Come Together, Act Now, emphasizing the need to involve everyone – especially men and boys – in changing social norms, attitudes, and behaviours that contribute to gender-based violence.

Join us behind Enrolment Services at the Cranbrook Campus to learn about:

  • Important Dates during this period
  • Ways to get involved
  • Share they ways of you will be part of the solution to end gender-based violence
