Y Mind – Learn to Cope with Stress Workshop Series – Orientation

Join us on October 18th to learn more about this Workshop Series.

In collaboration with EKASS, College of the Rockies is offering a free workshop series for young people ages 18-30 called Y Mind. This program is a unique opportunity to learn effective coping strategies for managing worry and stress in a supportive environment. It is a 7-week program facilitated by mental health professionals, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques. Come connect with others with similar experiences, while benefiting from some help in managing mild-to moderate stress, anxiety, and low mood.

Orientation & Workshop Registration:

Cost: Free!

Orientation date: Wednesday, October 18th | FROM 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Workshop Series: Wednesdays, starting October 25th and ending December 6 | FROM 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Location: In-person | College of the Rockies | Cranbrook campus | Summit Building | Room S203
