DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Black History Month (February)\, College of the Rockies is hosting the webinar “Understanding the Black Experience: Confronting Myths and Cultivating Inclusive Workplaces\,” delivered by Inclusivity’s Lauren Martin.  \nThis session will explore the realities of slavery and racism in Canadian history and examine how these historical injustices connect to ongoing barriers and discrimination faced by Black communities today. \nParticipants will gain greater awareness of the Black experience and learn practical ways to support Black colleagues in the workplace and beyond. More details can be found on the attached poster. \nAll employees are welcome to attend. \nZoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88682597165 \n  \nAbout the Presenter:\n\n\n\n\nLauren Martin\nInstructional Designer & Facilitator\nShe/Her\n\n\n\n\nLauren is a dynamic\, transformational leader\, consultant\, and master facilitator with over 30 years of experience in EDI\, leadership development\, neuroscience and education.
