You may choose to live in Student Residence, or in a rental apartment.
If you plan to live in Student Housing, you should apply at the same time that you apply for your program.
Living in Residence:
You may apply to live in either Purcell House, or one of our new housing facilities.
Our new student housing facilities are currently under construction and will provide secure housing for 100 students at the Cranbrook campus. Located just steps from the Cranbrook main campus, you’ll be able to travel to and from classes in minutes. And with the buildings bordering the Cranbrook Community Forest, you also have easy access to recreation trails right outside your door. These buildings will become available during the 2021/2022 academic year. Once completed, current residents of Purcell House may have an opportunity to transfer to the new buildings.

Student Housing Amenities
Student Housing Services provides a basic wifi connection within the buildings. However, to ensure a guaranteed connection, we encourage all students living on campus to purchase wifi through an external provider. Some students choose to wait until they arrive on campus to purchase wifi and are able to share costs with other students living in their suite.
All students living on campus are able to receive letters and packages. Students living in Purcell House each have an assigned mail box located at the front of the building where letters and small packages will be dropped off. If a package is too large for these mailboxes, Student Housing Services staff will email you to let you know you have received a package. You can pick up your package during office hours. Please make sure to bring your Student ID with you when picking up your package.
