The Flaviana Matata Foundation was established in 2011 and offers a variety of programming and activities to ensure that girls and young women receive the education and training they need in order to take advantage of economic and lifelong learning opportunities.
The objective of the Gender Equality Education Officer will be to build on the activities implemented by FMF to support the ability of women to contribute to the national, regional, and local economies through education obtained at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. The intern will support FMF staff to increase the awareness about the importance of education for girls and young women.
