Course Overview
Turn time in the kitchen into quality time together. This hands-on three-week cooking series gives parents or guardians the opportunity to cook alongside their children ages 12 and older while learning practical skills they can use at home for years to come.
Each Sunday, you’ll prepare affordable, family-friendly recipes using everyday grocery ingredients while building skills in kitchen safety, knife skills, baking, healthy cooking, meal planning, budgeting and food presentation. No fancy ingredients or complicated techniques required, just good food, useful skills and time spent cooking together.
Please note: A parent or guardian must participate with a child age 12 or older. The course fee is $149 per participant, meaning both the parent/guardian and child must register separately and each pay the $149 fee. Children cannot participate without the same parent or guardian.
A printed recipe booklet is included, and participants can take home what they make whenever possible. Bring containers!
