Executive Director, Indigenization & Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
The Executive Director provides institutional leadership for the College’s Indigenization and EDI priorities. Working across departments and with College leadership, Indigenous partners, employees, and students, the Executive Director helps move the College’s Indigenization Strategy, EDI Strategic Priorities, and Accessibility Plan into action. The Executive Director also works to ensure that Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging are considered across College planning, decision-making, and operations.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant is often the first person you will meet when you visit our office.
They help connect people with the right member of our team, coordinate meetings and activities, support the day-to-day work of the department, and help keep the many pieces of the Office moving.
Events and Engagement Coordinator – I-EDI
The Events and Engagement Coordinator creates opportunities for students, employees, Indigenous partners, and the wider community to connect with the work of I-EDI.
They coordinate events, activities, and engagement opportunities throughout the year and maintain the College’s I-EDI Observance Calendar, helping the College recognize and engage with important dates and periods such as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Black History Month, National Coming Out Day, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, International Women’s Day, and many others.

Teaching and Learning Specialist – I-EDI
The Teaching and Learning Specialist supports the integration of Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging into teaching and learning at the College.
Working primarily with faculty, they provide support for curriculum, teaching practices, and professional learning. They also create educational opportunities for employees across the College to strengthen understanding and practice related to Indigenization and EDI.
