Technology and Password Support

We all rely on technology everyday – and it is constantly evolving. Whether you need help with your College Network Accounts, want to change your current password, need help connecting your laptop to Eduroam, or have issues with your College email account, we can help.

As a College of the Rockies student, you will use two different student accounts, your AccessCOTR account and COTR Network account.


AccessCOTR Account

Gives access to:

  • Student personal info
  • Financial account activity
  • Program/Course information
  • Self-serve course registration
  • Student records
  • Grades
  • Transcripts
  • Grad applications
  • Enrollment Verifications

AccessCOTR has its own password which provides access to AccessCOTR only.

Please note: These services can be accessed from anywhere that you have a wi-fi connection, in or outside the COTR network.

COTR Network Account

Gives access to your network account services:

  • Student portal
  • COTROnline (Moodle)
  • Your COTR email
  • Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Eduroam (student wi-fi)
  • College computers
  • Printing
  • Learning Commons access

Access to all the above is provided by your Network Account Username and one password, that is different from AccessCOTR’s password.

Please note: You may not be able to access certain applications if you are trying to access them from outside the College.
