Discipline: Mountain Adventure Skills Training

I completed the MAST program in 2022 and began instructing in the program in 2008. Since that time, I have spent over 10 years working on various mountain skills courses with the MAST program as well as the College’s Adventure Tourism program in Golden.

I am an International Federation of Mountain Guides certified guide living in Canmore, Alberta. Mountain travel truly inspires me, and I love nothing more than sharing this passion with others, helping them explore and discover there beautiful and bold places.

With over 15 years of instructional experience, I am dedicated to teaching people the skills to safely navigate all types of terrain, using their own power. I see guiding as a way to experience the natural environment, help people explore their personal limits, and work as part of a dynamic team, witnessing the rawness of nature.

The mountains have been one of my greatest teachers, as their scale and complexity brings perspective and humility to my life. I believe in learning by doing.
