Sam Steele Days Parade

On Saturday, June 20 we were thrilled to participate in the annual Sam Steele Days parade.  What a fun time!

International students and staff from the International department helped prepare the float for the big day while our International Education and Development Manager, Jeff Cooper, kindly volunteered to drive the College van.  Proudly accompanying the float were alumni from every decade of our 40-year history (and some future alumni as well!).  What a thrill that was for us – and everyone looked great in their COTR t-shirts.

Students and alumni handed out water bottles and candy to the crowds that lined the parade route and all reports indicate that everyone had a fantastic time.

Our Recruitment Officers Andra and Jennifer were the driving force behind the float – and Andra made sure everything ran smoothly on parade day (and then, with seemingly never-ending energy, took part in Round the Mountain the next day!)

Thank you to everyone to took part – and especially to our alumni for coming out to represent their COTR pride.  You are what makes us Small College Proud!  We can’t wait until next year.
