College of the Rockies welcoming special guests to commencement ceremony

Posted on
College of the Rockies has invited graduates from 2020 and 2021 to take part in the 2022 commencement ceremony.

Graduates from 2020 and 2021 invited to attend this year’s event

College of the Rockies’ commencement ceremony will be extra special this year, as graduates from 2020 and 2021 have been invited to take part in the ceremony.

“The 2020 and 2021 commencement ceremonies were impacted by COVID-19 restrictions,” said Robin Hicks, Vice President, Academic and Applied Research. “While we were able to provide virtual ceremonies for those graduates, they missed out on the full convocation experience of walking across the stage in front of family and friends. We are hopeful that many of those students will be able to join us, and the Class of 2022, to take part in a more traditional celebration of their accomplishments.”

The College’s 2022 commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Cranbrook’s Western Financial Place.

Accommodations for returning graduates and guests will be available in student housing at the Cranbrook campus. More information can be found at cotr.ca/short-term-accommodation/
