Our annual Open House will take place on Wednesday, November 5^th at the Cranbrook Main Campus Gymnasium from 5:00 – 7:00 pm (MST)

This event is open to the community and free to attend but we do ask that you pre-register.

Q: Why should I attend the Open House?

A: The College’s Open House is a great opportunity for you to meet faculty, ask questions, and learn about the College’s programs and services.

Q: What can I expect?

A: You can expect a variety of informative and engaging discussions with College faculty and staff. The more tables you visit, and the more questions you ask, the more valuable you’ll find the experience.

Q: What are the admission requirements?

A: Admission requirements vary from program to program. Please visit our program page to find your program of interest and then click on “Admission Requirements”. Programs A-Z

What if I don’t meet the admission requirements?

A: If you don’t meet the admission requirements for your program of interest, please book an appointment with one of our Education Advisors to discuss options. You can book an Ed Advising appointment online.

Q: I didn’t graduate high school in BC, how do I find out if the courses I took meet the BC admissions requirements?

A: Students from across Canada come to College of the Rockies. To find the high school equivalencies for your province, see: Course Equivalency Information.

Q: How do I get my high school transcripts?

A: Information about sending your official high school transcript to College of the Rockies is available here: Transcripts

Q: Where can I find information about scholarships and financial aid?

A: You will find financial aid and award information on the College’s website: Financial Aid and Awards.

Q: When can I apply?

A: If you plan to start in January 2026 then you can apply right now. If you plan to start in September 2026, applications open November 1.

To increase your chances of getting into the program and/or courses you want, we recommend applying as early as possible.
The deadline to apply for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is February 15, all academic admission requirements must be received by the admissions department by February 28.

Q: When do I have to pay my tuition by?

A: Students must pay their full tuition amount for the fall semester by August 5^th. Please make sure to read all communications from the College thoroughly as they will outline next steps and important dates.
