Ktunaxa Language Level 1

The Ktunaxa Nation is a cross-border community with a traditional territory spanning 70,000 km². The Ktunaxa language isolate is over 10,000 years old and unrelated to neighboring language families. This course supports curious and emerging language learners through mixed synchronous/asynchronous online learning. Students will develop Ktunaxa pronunciation and comprehension skills while building conversational vocabulary. Further, students will learn how to be appropriately informed by Ktunaxa worldviews and ways of knowing in daily life.
