This internship is being hosted by the Center where Adolescents Learn to Love and Serve (CALLS), which is in the town of Portsmouth, Dominica. CALLS is a grassroots development organization that is run predominantly by community volunteers with a full time Executive Officer. The organization serves as a safety net for at-risk youth between the ages of 14 and 25. CALLs offers courses in agriculture, small engine repair, fish processing, bar services, and furniture making.
