Course Overview
A person who has achieved an advanced first aid certification from out of province (70 hours or more) may complete an Out of Jurisdiction package to obtain a WorkSafeBC OFA Level 3 certification. An OFA Statement of Fitness and Out of Jurisdiction Certification application must also be completed and signed. The Out of Jurisdiction package provides references to the sections of the Workers’ Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations the applicant needs to be familiar with in order to be an Occupational First Aid Attendant in BC.
