 Employee Groups: 

The College currently has five employee groups: 

Auxiliary: CUPE (support staff) and CORFA (faculty) auxiliary positions are on-call/as-needed. CORFA auxiliary positions may also include instructing in one or two courses for a defined period.

Term: A term assignment  has a set number of hours during a specific timeframe (i.e., 35 hours/week, September 1 to December 31, 2024). 

Regular, Full-time: A regular full-time employee works 35 hours per week for 12 consecutive months each year (with exception for personal holidays, statutory holidays, sick days, etc.)

Regular, Part-time: A regular part-time employee  works fewer than 35 hours per week for 12 consecutive months each year. 

Sessional: A regular full- or part-time support staff position for a defined period of six to 10 consecutive months.  

Exempt positions: College of the Rockies employees who do not belong to either CORFA or CUPE. Includes all management positions, contract employees, and executive assistants.
