Red Cross Wilderness First Aid & CPR C

Course Overview

This 40-hour course provides advanced first aid and CPR training for those working or responding in isolated or wilderness settings. Participants learn to plan ahead, prevent injuries, and promote safety for themselves and their group. The course develops leadership, assessment, and decision-making skills, with strategies for providing extended care up to 24 hours. Part of the training is outdoors and requires more physical activity than standard first aid courses.

Requirements

Note: A minimum of 20 hours is taught outdoors, dress for the weather.

An equipment list will be provided upon registration.

Must bring photo ID.
