Consider this scenario: You’re in a busy warehouse, and an accident occurs. With the skills you gain from this course, you’ll know how to manage severe bleeding, perform CPR on adults, and handle multiple casualties simultaneously. You’ll also learn to recognize and manage a wide range of medical conditions, making you a vital asset in any workplace.

Successful completion requires 100% attendance, demonstrations of critical skills and a 70% pass mark on the written exam. Please note these courses are physically demanding and will require prolonged kneeling, working in stooped positions, and rolling patients. Each class participant is required to function as attendant, helper and patient. Depending on the level and length of the course, these physical demands can become rigorous. Participants will be required to demonstrate specific skills according to an accepted standard before certification is issued.

If you experience barriers related to a persistent, prolonged, permanent or temporary disability that may impact your participation or learning in this course, please connect with Accessibility Services prior to the start of your course/program. Implementing accommodations is a collaborative process between students, Accessibility Services, and instructors to foster an inclusive learning environment.

To renew an intermediate certificate, a candidate must meet the same training and examination requirements as for initial certificates through the completion of a full intermediate first aid course.

Course fee includes the book. Upon successful completion, students receive a St John Ambulance intermediate first aid certificate as well as CPR -C certification.
