Course Overview
This UTV training is recognized by industry as a certificate of competency for operating UTVs on the job (forestry, pipeline, resource management, mine operations, RCMP, BC wildfire) operated by a Canadian Safety Council certified instructor. Learn to be a SAFE operator, recognizing and accepting the UTV as a motorized vehicle and recognizing your own capabilities and limitations.
UTV’s are designed to be a safe vehicle when used as intended. Your knowledge of the vehicle; recognizing and accepting it as a motorized vehicle; respecting its capabilities and its limitations; varying operating conditions; and good judgement and courtesy. Recognizing your own capabilities and limitations is also a very important factor for the safe operation of your UTV.
