Canadian Library Month Caption Contest

Celebrate Canadian Library Month with us by putting your wit to the test! Starting October 1st, select one of our curated archival photos from the College Learning Commons and create a clever caption using speech or thought bubbles. Whether its funny, profound, or wildly imaginative – we want to see your take on library history! The winner will be decided by a blind review (with identifying information removed) by library faculty and staff.

The top winner will be chosen to receive a prize and will be announced on Friday, October 17th.

Contest Rules:

1. Participants must be a current COTR affiliate (student, faculty, or staff)
2. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, Oct 14th at 11:59.pm.
3. Submissions will be judged by a blind review of Library faculty and staff.
4. Participants may submit multiple entries, but can only win one prize.
5. Submissions that violate privacy, promote illegal activity, or incite violence will be disqualified.
