Global Entrepreneurship Week – BUILDING BUSINESS FOR GOOD: Local Social Entrepreneurship Panel

November 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Presented by the College of the Rockies Department of Sustainable Business Programs in partnership with Community Futures’ Innovate for Impact.

Join us for a student-led fireside panel featuring local entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurship professionals who are creating meaningful social and cultural impact through their work. This event highlights how business can be a tool for community well-being, cultural vitality, environmental stewardship, and economic resilience – and what it truly looks like to build businesses “beyond profit.”

Our panelists will share their personal stories, lessons learned, and practical insights on balancing purpose and sustainability while navigating the realities of entrepreneurship. Guided by questions developed by business and social innovation students, this conversation offers inspiration, reflection, and real talk about what it means to build a business that contributes to something larger than ourselves.

What to Expect:

· Diverse panel of local purpose-driven entrepreneurs

· Networking with students, faculty, and community members

· Light refreshments provided

· Prize giveaways, including copies of each speaker’s favorite entrepreneurship-inspired book
