Glacier recession in BC poster session and student-led panel discussion
Location: Flexible Learning Lab | Time: 10:00 AM – 11:15AM
- Following the screening, the GEOG 230 (Weather, Climate, and Hydrology) students will hold a conference-style poster session and student-led panel discussion.
- This semester, students chose a glacier in British Columbia or the Yukon and did a remote sensing and research exercise to evaluate its recession and try to contextualize “will this glacier survive?” under current climate conditions.
We look forward to seeing you there!
