Course Overview
The Book Club will meet once a month engaging participants in lively discussion. Over 7 months the club will be exploring Canadian fiction and nonfiction, with an emphasis on writers scheduled to visit Fernie through the Library’s BOOKED!Series or Fernie Pride’s Rainbow Reads. Co-facilitated by Angie Abdou and Danielle Gibson. Danielle Gibson is an avid reader, an educator and a writer. Angie Abdou has a PhD in Canadian Literature and Creative Writing. Each month, the book club members will meet for 1 hour and consider a diverse range of Canadian authors and texts.
