Course Overview
This course is designed as a starting point for people who would like to begin writing creatively, but don’t know where to begin. It will cover a variety of formats such as short stories and novels, but ideally tailored to the specific needs of the students. The goal of this course, and its instructor, is to guide you in the basics of writing and encourage amateur writers in their passion. Some topics will include the basics of writing, plots, characters, settings and conflicts. Tips on leading a writer’s lifestyle and keeping a writing notebook will also be discussed.
