In this course participants will create a painting representing cultural aspects of the lives of Metis people throughout Canada’s history. You can open and learn your own interpretation of colonization, resistance and much more. This is an essential activity for anyone wanting to learn more about themselves through the Truth and Reconciliation process.
Supplies needed: 9 by 12 in canvas, Set of brushes, variety of sizes, student grade. If you do not have a set, you will require a round, flat1/2 in and small detail brush minimum. Plastic container with tight lid to save acrylic paint. Paints supplied.
