Grow Your Own Mushrooms

Course Overview

Explore the world of mushroom cultivation and take home your own mushroom log. Our instructor will present a talk on mushroom cultivation followed by a hands-on workshop on how to grow oyster mushrooms. You will inoculate cottonwood logs with oyster mushroom spawn and learn how to maintain the logs safely so they bear mushrooms for many years. Please bring a cordless drill if possible.
