Creative Writing 248 focuses primarily on travel writing. This course is designed to help students improve their writing skills with an emphasis on writing travel articles for publication. Often, university success depends on students being able to express themselves clearly in writing and this course will work to help develop that skill. On assignments and in essays, students are asked to convey information in an organized and concise fashion. In this course, students learn primarily by doing. The emphasis is, therefore, on the weekly writing assignments.
