Beading and Lunch with Indigenous Elders

Come learn the beautiful art of beading with our Elders in the student lounge (downstairs to the right of the front doors) at the Place Where People Gather! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in beading, this hands-on activity is open to all students and college employees. It’s a wonderful opportunity to not only learn a new skill but also to engage with our Elders, build connections, and immerse yourself in a cultural practice passed down through generations. Join us for an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and community in our warm and welcoming space.

On this final date of Elder Events for 2024, we will be serving pizza! Come by for a slice.
