Moodle Board: Designing Collaborative Learning Spaces
February 13 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Moodle Board is an interactive collaboration tool that allows instructors to create shared spaces for brainstorming, discussion, reflection, and idea-building—directly within Moodle. Similar to tools like Padlet, Moodle Board supports active learning by enabling students to contribute text, images, links, and media in a visually organized format.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Compare Moodle Board to tools such as Padlet and identify appropriate instructional use cases
- Design Moodle Board activities aligned with course learning objectives
- Apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to create inclusive and accessible Board activities
- Develop clear, effective prompts that encourage meaningful student participation
