Greg McCallum, MA, TCM

Discipline/Teaching Area: Marketing and General Management

I’m the Business Management Program Coordinator at College of the Rockies and I also supervise applied research projects for fourth-year Bachelor of Business Administration students alongside my coordinating and faculty assignments. I teach marketing, management, and sustainable business practices, both in the classroom and online. My past appointments include Chair of the Sustainability Committee and faculty representative on the College Board of Governors.

My education includes a Master of Arts degree in International Hotel Management from Royal Roads University and diplomas in Adult Education and Marketing. My past board appointments include Chair of the BC Business Educators Articulation Committee and Chair of the Kimberley Tourism Infrastructure Committee. I live in Kimberley and love the outdoor activities that this area has to offer.

I like to incorporate real world business cases and simulations into my classes whenever possible. I think connecting students with the business community through project work sets students up for success during their career. I’m proud that all Business Management programs at College of the Rockies stress the importance of profit for long term viability, while also recognizing the impact businesses can have on employees, communities, culture, and the land.

I’m here to support students during their academic journey. Whether it’s questions about the courses material, academic planning or career advice, I always have time to sit down and talk. The most satisfying part of my job is contributing to students’ success!
