Sculpture

This is an introductory course in sculpture and 3D thinking through the element of clay. Students will explore a variety of historical and contemporary methods and styles and investigate a number of building techniques. They will also experiment with various embellishment and firing styles that leads the student to experience the processes and qualities inherent in clay as a sculpture medium.
