Learn fundamental standards of digital accessibility, from creating accessible documents to ensuring your course pages on COTROnline are fully accessible. Digital Accessibility Essentials series ideal for anyone in any role who seeks to quickly grasp the basics of accessibility and gain a broad understanding of how to create accessible digital content.

This series includes five main sessions (in October), plus two additional (in November) Reflection and Suggestions sessions.

The first session of this series is – Introduction to Digital Accessibility

Learning Goals of this Session:

  1. Understand what digital accessibility is, why it is essential to make digital content accessible, and how to create a digital learning environment accessible.
  2. Explore practical aspects of digital accessibility or universal design for the digital world, such as, making multimedia accessible to improve the experience for everyone.
