Humanizing the Online Space:
A welcoming learning environment- Foster a Sense of Acceptance and Inclusivity.
The workshop will cover self-introduction videos. It will explore culturally responsive teaching practices such as using surveys, videos, and forums to promote cross-cultural collaboration and improve understanding. And it will review ways to use glossary activities and global media and examples to help situate and explain complex language and concepts.
While important for online course delivery, these tactics can help to improve the learning experience for in-person courses as well.
