Academic Dual Credit
At College of the Rockies, academic dual credit courses are available through the University Arts and Sciences, Business Management, Criminal and Social Justice, Tourism Management, Recreation Management, and Kinesiology programs.
Eligibility for Academic Dual Credit:
You are eligible to take part in the academic dual credit program if:
- You are entering grade 11 or 12
- You are 19 years of age or under.
- The College of the Rockies course is part of the University Arts and Sciences, Business Management, Criminal and Social Justice, Tourism Management, Recreation Management, or Kinesiology programs.
- You have completed the Dual Credit Application Package.

How to Apply for Academic Dual Credit
Step 1
Explore the University Arts and Sciences, Business Management, Criminal and Social Justice, Tourism Management, Recreation Management, and Kinesiology programs.
Step 2
With support from your high school counsellor or principal, complete the Academic Dual Credit Application package. This package includes the following forms and information sheets:
- Application for Program Admission – Dual Credit
- Academic Dual Credit Permission Form
- Academic Dual Credit Sponsorship Form
- Student Information Release Authorization Form (optional)
- Tuition and Fees List for upcoming academic year
Step 3
Submit an official high school transcript to College of the Rockies.

Step 4
Submit the completed application package to your high school counsellor. If approved, your application will then be given to the Regional Transition Coordinator for submission to College of the Rockies. Soon afterwards, the College will contact you via email regarding your admission status.
